본 연구에서는 주거건축부분에 있어서 계단이 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 저층아파트 계단의 조도에 관한 실측조사와 분석을 행함으로써, 앞으로 우리나라 아파트의 계단설계및 계단관리에 대해 기본적인 방향을 제시하려는데 그 목적이 있다.
