The purpose of this study is to propose the basic data necessary
for computing the quantity of the heat radiation and heat load in
Ondol-heated space by experiment. For the examining the thermal
performance of heating floor structure, three different types of
Ondol models are constructed. One is the conventional wet-Ondol,
and the others are prefabricated ondols. The thermal performance
of them were analyzed and compared by measurement of temperatures
at various points of them.
As the results, the room and the floor surface temperature of the
prefabricated model were higher than those of conventional one.
The quantity of radiation from the floor was classified as the
radiation and the convection component, and then evaluated. Also,
the prediction equation of heat radiation was proposed with
considering floor surface temperature and room temperature.
