The aim of this study is to obtain the information
how the users evaluate in terior colors in office.
We made a report about evaluation construct model
of the interior colors in office. The image types
were selected based on the evaluation model. And
we simulated variable colors by using the color
lmage Processor. The characteristics of the colors
by the lmage types were analysed.
The major findings are as follows:
1) We extracted the evaluation construct model, and
selected six adjectives - [Variable], [Comfortable],
[Polished], [Clear], [Warm], [Soft] - as the image type.
2) The [Variable] image and the [Comfortable] image
were influenced by the tone. The [Variable] image was
marked highly in low value and high chroma. The
[Comfortable] image was marked highly in the hue of
Y,G and BG.
3) The [Polished] image and the [Warm] image were
deeply influenced by the hue. The [Polished] image
was marked highly in the hue of BG, B and PB. The
[Warm] image was marked highly in the hue of RP, R,
YR and Y.
4) The [Clear] image and the [Soft] image were deeply
influenced by the value, and these was marked highly
in high value.
