This paper deals with a multi-echelon inventory problem for repairable items which determines proper inventory levels of items at each echelon. These items consist of high-priced equipments such as aircrafts or ships. Most repairable items are expensive and have a great influence on the performance of equipments. Thus the information on the proper inventory level of these items is very useful to the decision maker.
The purpose of this paper is to provide a method of finding proper in-ventory levels under the dynamic environment of the system when the demand process is time-dependent.
