This paper aims to interpret the principles of the chi in Yang-Tag-Non based on the courtyard. Anmadang of traditional dwelling houses. and to verify the placeness of Madang through the interrelation of the Cho and natural atmospheric action based on the natural atmospheric change in the Anmadang.
The ideal spot, Myung-dang is symbolized as the building and Madang on the certain geographical features in Yang-Tag of Feung-Shui. The traditional dwelling houses centering around the Madang with building and fence serves zs the architectural function and the place of gathering the essential animation of the Yang-Tag, Feung-Shui. And the Madang induces the factor of natural atmosphere to inner space of house. so it is necessary to consider the relation of animation and factor of natural in Yang-Tag.
Anmadang has not only a role of deadening the atmospheric condition of indoor and outdoor but also a function of passive control controling the habitat environment.
Anmadang itself has the proper system which controls the built environment and accepts a breath of nature.
