This study is intended for how to utilize the recycled fine aggregate which is produced by separating and crushing waste concrete which accounts for 65% of construction wastes. It analyzes the quality of the fine aggregate which is reproduced through a wet production process and comprehends the charaeteristics od martar using the recycled fine aggregate to review whether it can be put to practical use for conerete The conclusions of the study are as follows
1.The recycled find aggregate through the wet production process shows the low rate of absorption and foreign substance content after the process of wash and dehydration It shows its density is 2.40, absorption rate is 3.12 and stability is 3.2% and less 0.09% was got through the 0.08㎜ Therefore it satisfies the standards of KS F 2573(recycled aggregate for concrete) as the first grade
2.Compared to the mortar made from natural fine aggregate, another using recycled one reduces the flow when the rate of mix increases The mortar of the 100% recycled find aggregate reduces the flow to the maximum 12% comparing to thet of 100% natural ane
The compressive strength of mortar using the wet recyeled fine aggregate tends to be reduced according to the inerease of the mixing rate of recycled find aggregate at the beginning, but as time passes it shows that the compressive strength of mortar using the recycled fine aggregate issimilar to that of natural one regardless of the increase of mixing rate Based on the above results the recycled fine aggregate through the wet production process satisfies the quality standards of the first-grade recycled fine aggregate of KS F2573 (recycled fine aggregate for concrete_ and it is concluded that the recycled fine aggregate can be used as fine aggregate because its characteristics are similar to the natural one when the mortar is produced
