The decision of appropriate cost and duration is one of the most important things which effect on project's success at
early stage. This is so-called time-cost trade-off problem, which has been studied extensively. However, this problem is
difficult and complex because of taking consideration into reduction of duration and cost simultaneously. This paper
proposes a model for time-cost trade-off optimization by using genetic algorithms, which is more effective enough to
solve large-scale CPM network than previous methods. As a result of the research, the model of time-cost trade-off by
using genetic algorithms is effective in finding time-cost trade-off optimization
early stage. This is so-called time-cost trade-off problem, which has been studied extensively. However, this problem is
