A remarkable hint in Korean shrouds is that there are more items than in China. The reason is not only because the last full dress of the dead was made like his former style while alive but because the social decorums have been accounted much from the introduction of Chinese Confucianism in Korea.
describing common items, such as Myuck-mok(暝目), Choong-i(充耳), Eom(엄). Lee(履), Ack-su(幄手), Mo(冒). There have appeared in shroud from and color many notes. But it is regretful for me not to have a profpund study of all alike and different features between China and Korea, because there is hardly detail record in clothing itself.
Many of hints appeared in the last empire of Chosun Dynasty. There have been found some different shroud forms by one's social standing. estate and yes or no of rich. Silk, satin and fine linen had been used in materials. The color of lod shrouds digged out in ancient tombs, for the most part, was the same as that of his lifetime. The royal family of the Dynasty had enough room with four season cloths such as Dan(緞), Chu(紬), Neung(綾), Cho(초). Sa(紗).
A peculiar emotion of Korean people has been saturated in their shrouds as they were in the days gone by.
