The purpose of this study was to evaluate a repair performance of polymer-modified cement mortar(PCM) applied to the substrate concrete as a repair material. The experimental factors were polymer types(SBR, EVA, PAE) and polymer-cement ratios(0, 5, 10, 15, 20%). Flow, compressive strength, bond strength, steel corrosion area ratio, steel weight reduction ratio, bond strength after freezing-thawing, depth of carbonation were measured for the test. The results of this study were as follows; The 28days compressive strength of PCM showed almost same measure in comparison with unmodified cement mortar(UCM). The bond strength of PCM showed very high value than that of UCM, and it was nearly four times. While all PCMs showed the steel corrosion area ratio of less 2%, that of UCM was 9.34%. Also decreased steel mass ratio was similar. The bond strength of UCM after freezing-thawing was 0.03MPa which was close by almost 0. Depth of carbonation of PCM was remarkably little value in comparison with UCM and depth of carbonation of PAE 15 which was the largest value among PCM was 11mm, the half value of UCM. The suitable polymer-cement ratios of polymer-modified cement mortar were 15 and 20%. In case of SBR polymer-type, it showed a good repair performance relatively.
