Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone is the fist Port Free Trade Zone in China. Since its establishment on 12 May 1991.with the appr?oval of China state CounciI. a certain scale of international ca?rge flow has been formed. By the end of 1995. the total ualue of imported and exported cargoes had been reached USD 3 billionand. A distribution center of international cargo is emerging in Tian-jin Port Free Frade Zone.
Some enterprisses with function of distribution logistics have grown up. such as CBW &. Tianjin Huatie-Iong Jin Tia slorage &. Transportation Co.Ltd,ete.
As a Port Free Trade Zone. Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone has unIque advantageous conditions to be dlstrlbution center of inter?national cargoes Namely, the unique location of being In the Port, and special policies given by our state. The most advantageous conditions make Tianjin Port Frade Zone to absorb foreign investment and to be the distribution crntre of international commodition, so the other Ftrr Trade Zones can not copared to it.
Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone plays the role of "Collection-Distribution". It mainly embodies distribution enter of international commodities, so as to make a due contribution to the devolopment of the regional economics and national foreign trade.
For this reason. The developing orientation of Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone Is decided to be distribution centre of importing and exporting international cargos, and also set relevant striving target.
It is believed that Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone is bound to play an important part of the distribution of international commodition, during the development of Tianjin Port and Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone into an organic whole.
