Report Errors
A numerical and experimental flow visualization study of the louvered fin arrary, commonly used in a compact heat exchanger was performed. The flow structure which was obtained by using a finite volume method, was compared with an experimental result.
Computation was performed to study the heat transfer characteristics of louver fin heat exchanger with the Chang and Wang's experimental data and wide range of variables(Re_(LP)=174, Fp=1.0~1.4㎜, θ=20°~35°). The calculated results were used to calculate and analyze friction factor and Colburn factor of each mode.
