The present study is conducted to investigate the local heat/mass transfer characteristics on the turbine cascade endwall with stationary wake. A naphthalene sublimation method is employed to determine the local heat/mass transfer coefficients on the endwall. The experiments are conducted with the variations of spanwise/streamwise positions of wake generator constructed with flat plates. Turbulence grid is installed to elavate turbulence intensity to investigate the effect of turbulence intensity of inlet flow. The results show that heat/mass transfer coefficients increases near the inlet region with stationary wakes. However, the effect of stationary wake on the heat transfer is reduced at downstream region due to the dissipation and flow acceleration. For the inlet flow with high turbulence intensity, heat transfer characteristics are changed significantly due to the reducing strength of the passage vortex.
