Dynamic simulation of direct cooling refrigerator using R134a which has two serial evaporators for freezer and refrigerator compartment respectively was performed. The refrigerator was divided into 6 parts of freezer evaporator, freezer load, freezer air, refrigerator evaporator, refrigerator load, refrigerator air to apply lumped method and the relation of each part was shown by thermal resistance. The coefficient matrix was acquired by heat load analysis and properties of materials. The simultaneous ordinary differential equations were calculated using 4th order Runge-Kutta method. The results of dynamic simulation fitted in experimental data well.
