The Kongju calls frequently city of history and culture. Because the Kongju was capital at the Baegje period and a central place of politics and culture at the Goryeo dynasty period and the Choseon dynasty period in the Chungnam area. But it is not known well the city structure of the Ungjin(熊津) at the Baegje period. Also we don't know location of the palace at the Baegje period. Consequently the city structure of the Kongju at the Choseon dynasty period is received an interest.
The Kongju was located Chungcheong Kamyeong(忠淸監營) at the Choseon dynasty period. The Geumyeong(錦營) which does rightly mean the Chungcheong Kamyeong at the Choseon dynasty period. The Geumyeong located in the Kongsanseong(公山城). It is thought that this point will have the possibility the Baegje palaces in the Kongsanseong(公山城). Also it is thought that the Ungjin(熊津) at the Baegje period was divided of the Jemincheon(濟民川) between the east and the west. The Ungjinbridge(熊津橋) was the building linking city which was divided of the Jemincheon(濟民川).

The Geumyeong located in the Kongsanseong(公山城). It is thought that this point will have the possibility the Baegje palaces in the Kongsanseong(公山城). Also it is thought that the Ungjin(熊津) at the Baegje period was divided of the Jemincheon(濟民川) between the east and the west. The Ungjinbridge(熊津橋) was the building linking city which was divided of the Jemincheon(濟民川).
