The Purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics and trends of future housing in reference to ubiquitous housing cases in the Holland, Japan and Korea. It is investigated to understand how to join meanings of the ubiquitous environment and housing through domestic and foreign examples.
Field trips to ubiquitous housing examples in Holland, Japan and Korea were fulfilled in order to analyze, such as Living Tomorrow 3 in Amsterdam Holland, PAPI in Nagoya Japan, and Ubiquitous Pavilion in Seoul Korea.
In this study, we could get the types and characteristics of future housing of each country in digital area. This study included general characteristics, the general idea, physical and design aspects of ubiquitous housings. In conclusion, it was considered as the one of the most suitable future housing type that had a special feature of the culture of residence and life with free accessibility of information and data.
