Report Errors
As the supply exceeded the demand in the housing market until the early 1990's, supplier's market was formed. This supplier-oriented market situation did not consider consumer's features and was unbalanced to the uniform housing supply, so that the quality of housing environment deteriorated.
Although, in the preceding research literature, there were many studies on the housing preferences focusing on the satisfaction and dissatisfaction with the existing housing life unit, there were not the sufficient studies on the influences of housing preference factors according to purchasing purposes.
These results show that preference factors are different according to whether housing purchasing is for residence or investment at the early purchasing stage. Therefore, this study tried to provide the basic data for the effective housing supply, by applying the different preferences according to supply purposes, in correspondence to consumers' diverse desire and participation for housing and enhanced quality of life, from the early housing supply stage.
