Report Errors
This study aims to select indicators as a means to evaluate the Residents' Safety of outdoor spaces in multi-family housing. For that purpose, the research which are related the crime rate and the crime fear are analyzed. According to the analysis of correctness and usefulness of indicators of outdoor spaces, the indicators are selected.
The results of this study are the followings; 1) The goals of the evaluation are decrease in the crime rate and the crime fear. 2) The detailed goals of the evaluation are increase in the territoriality, surveillance, community and utilization of outdoor spaces. 3) The qualitative indicators(the Number of User in the Entrance, Green Space Per House, Recreational Open Space Ratio, etc.) are selected. 4) The quantitative indicators (the Location of Recreational Open Space, Clear Boundary of Parking Space , et c.) are selected.
