The objective of this study is to analyze the traveling characteristics of traffic flow running on the two-lane road with on street parking vehicles, according to the pictures outputted by transforming the moving image from video film into a graphic files.
Analysis items of this study are as follows. First, the position of traveling vehicle from the central line. Second, the distance between the right side of traveling vehicle and the left side of parked vehicle. Third, the proportion of central line invasion.
The results of analysis are as follows. First, the vehicle driver traveling on the two-lane road with on street parking vehicle determine the traveling position, according to the breadth of road and the position of parked vehicle and traveling vehicle of opposing lane. Second, traveling vehicles secure of breadth of about 0.7m at least against the parked vehicle and 0.2m at least against the central line.
