The purpose of this study is to establish an evaluation model of the residential environment, using of Fuzzy Theory.
The primary reason for the usefulness of Fuzzy Theory in handling multi-objectives are its ;
1. ability to represent objectives.
2. convenient forms for combining objectives.
3. a realistic means of including differing degrees of importance to the objectives
This paper has two steps :
1. We shall present a methodology based on the work of Saaty for calculating a scale of importance of each of the objectives.
2. This paper considers the problems appearing when a human grades. The human decision mechanism is represented by the approximate reasoning where the fuzzy integral is used.
Next, explains the fuzzy measure extended onto a family of sets including fuzzy sets and the concrete methods for constructing the fuzzy measure. Man's subject characteristics in grading are obtained through the fuzzy measure identified so that both. human and model's. outputs agree with each other.
In conclusion, this study shows that Fuzzy Theory is effective to evaluate the residential environment.
