This paper studies the organic relationship of the church and society by an educational ministry in a digital society. There were three issues studied: as an organism; as a system, System Theory; and as a network. Organism, the first issue, is that the church is the living body of Christ. Second, is how the System Theory applies to opening churches, and finally the network concept as an interaction of the church with the modern society.
Our society runs by high technology and science, and life is operating within a multimedia culture. But, the Church is losing its direction in this crisis. Therefore, the church must form a correlation with society, and must plan for a structural change. The change is to open the church toward society, and provide methods for opening premises that construct an educational ministry network system.
In the second chapter, the organic church is investigated for post modernity. Historically, the early church was a community of faith that shared holy fellowship (communio sanctorum). But the church was regularized when the Christian religion became a formula religion and one the big religious kingdom (Christendom) through Roman papacy underwent change. The Catholic Church of the Middle Ages had to organize as a sacrament to keep to the center. The Reformed Church changed church administration and missionary work, rescuing lay work to be centered on the Word. John Wesley, originator of Methodist Church, allowed the sacrament and the Word to be the central axis together. So, formation of church was that fly organic relation at two faces the center centralization of power enemy. Church has the structure of an organism. Being an organism means that mutually the church can accomplish networking.
J?rgen Moltmann spoke as one open action that Jesus called in criminal and revenue officers in the world. It is that locust is a delight, and is open for this delight with them in God. Therefore, the Church should be open for the world. It needs educational ministries networking on the interaction of church identities, pursuit and recovery, theology and spot, opening the church to a pluralistic society. God and a person with special qualities must be open network for ministers and the laity. There is also a need for a network of general business. This church is God―human, society ―church, theology―context, Word―Bible, education―ministry, and it must be opened for all, so to accomplish the networking.
Third, I studied the open network system of the educational ministry of church. It must accomplish the general network for an opening of the church by the educational ministry. If the educational ministry has access, the system can accomplish lively network organically. A system for opening this access should be recognized that as individual is a possibility. Taking a serious view at the interaction with other individual is needed. Next, the education ministry must construct network. It is network of the education ministry that is the network of the relationship, pluralism, the process center, and the feedback. The systemof the church is input, transformation, and output. These are helps so that it can be achieved individually. Worship can be integration action of the educational ministry with the church staff. Adam Hamilton insists that churches must change their opening system. He said that churches should reform, indicating four ingredients of worship for an opening system. They are the Bible, tradition, experience, reason.
Development of new media made digital environment or the new living environment of networking. First, the church should approach the following for a transformation of the network paradigm that educational ministry must construct network contents in digital age. Second, educational ministry must compose networks with other people. Third, educational ministry must construct context's network.
