Recently, the imbalance problem between supply and demand of aggregate resources was caused to that studies for recycled aggregate as the structural concrete aggregate were variously progressed. for the stable security and the quality increase. But systematic studies were insufficient because the manufacture and production technology of recycled aggregate was respectively different and the quantitative judgement was insufficient about the quality.
Therefore, in this study, it was considered that fundamental data were presented for the quality increase and the utilization of recycled aggregate, as investigating how the quality of recycled aggregate affected to mechanic properties of recycled concrete.
The results of this study have shown that recycled aggregate qualities used in this study were satisfied with the standard of KS and JASS-5 except the low-quality recycled aggregate. And the compressive and the tensile strength were increased. and the value of static modulus of elasticity was the highest value, according to the improvement of recycled aggregate qualities. Also, the resistance of salt damage and carbonation were increased and the ratio of drying shrinkage was the lowest value. according to the improvement of recycled aggregate qualities.
