The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of environment in sports center on the comsumer behavior.
In particularly, This study intended that a survey on the service environment in sport center can provide important suggestions for the sport marketing strategy by enabling the identification of consumers' reaction.
The subjects were selected from the areas of 10 sports center in Seoul and adjacent city with the stratified cluster random sampling. The data of 318 participants was used for analysis of this study.
The instrument used in the study were two questionnaires. that is, For service environment, "questionnaire" invented by Grewal & Baker(1994), for future behavior of customers, produced questionnaire.
The statistics method of this study was regression analysis to presuppose effects of environment in sports center on future behavior of customers. The findings of this study was as follows :
The First. There was different future behavior of customers as a function of sex, age, education level and job of customers.
Second, The design and social factor for the service environment in sports center had great effect directly on future behavior of customers.
In conclusion, The design and social factor for the service environment in sport center is vary important for the sport marketing strategy.
