The object of this study is to find the relationship of emotional stability in type of leisure activity of dance majored people by positivism way. In order to achieve the object, 313 people over 20 year old of dance majored have been collected in random sampling by multi-stage stratified cluster cluster random sampling. The standardized illustration in "self- respect" of emotional stability by Kang Jong-Kul (1986), "self-satisfaction" by Lee Jong-Kil (1985), and "self-control" by Lee Ju-Sung (1991) have been used for the appliance for collection.
The reliance figure of measurement showed between 0.76 to 0.85. Impartial rate analysis and multi-regression analysis have been used for the methodology.
The results for the study are as followed:
First, there has been differentiation according to the leisure activity in type of participation. Therefore, "reading group" has showed the highest rate, then followed by "computer group", "dance performance watching"," movie/ music group" and the last " travel group".
Second, the level of participation of leisure activity effect on emotional activity. Therefore, the longer in leisure participation, the higher the "emotional stability", "self-respect" and "self-control" get. Consequently, it showed that the more intensified participation for the leisure activity, the higher the "self-stability" and "self-satisfaction" get.
This study indicates that the emotional stability improved in accordance with the length of participation and intensiveness than the frequency of participation.
