The object of this research is that investigate the relationship between the restrictions of meaning that represented from combinations of such symbolic roots and suffixes as ‘-ha-, -dae-/-g?ri-, -i-’ in symbolic words and the semantic features of symbolic roots and suffixes. when the symbolic roots and suffixes such as ‘-ha-, -dae-/-g?ri-, -i-’ combine with echoic and mimic words, there are some regular patterns which can be show distribution cart. This study says that the semantic features of symbolic roots can influence to the distribution cart of symbolic roots and suffixes.
If All the analysis of this study should be shown into some emphasises, there are big following topic of four.
First, This study shows the combination that four thousand symbolic words take the symbolic roots and suffixes such as ‘-ha-, -dae-/-g?ri-, -i-’ and through that combination of data, indicates the each combination ratio. so this study examines the factors of this each combination phenomenon and reveals the structure that each suffix can't be attached to the all the symbolic words without discrimination as a preceding elements.
Second, some suffixes can be attached to the symbolic words as a preceding elements but the others can't. Each suffix has a semantic feature functions. If the symbolic words don't contradict against to a certain suffix, it can combines as a preceding elements. Then this study focused on the following four semantic features of symbolic words that respond to the meanings of the semantic features. The four semantic features of symbolic are words pellucidity, morphologic reiteration and iterativeness, movement of symbolic words, aggregation and sequence.
Third, every suffix, ‘-ha-, -dae-/-g?ri-, -i-’, combine with echoic and mimic words but each suffix never takes every symbolic words all together as a preceding element. That's why each suffix, ‘-ha-, -dae-/-g?ri-, -i-’, has a particular semantic features, especially, ‘[±active], [±progressive], [±iterative], [±stress]’ of four.
Fourth, to disclose the limits of combination between the symbolic words and the suffixes such as ‘-ha-, -dae-/-g?ri-, -i-’, those morphologic and semantic features are analysed. Through these specific trait, The study considered the factor of limits appeared in the phenomenon as a result of combination of symbolic words and suffixes.
