This study seeks ways of practical use in human science and culturological application in view of issues and perspectives. It, moreover, contains the argument that the information of not only a folk song itself, but its relative folk culture should be investigated and studied to activate the comparative study, aesthetics, sports by ‘folks songs in isles regions’. ‘Folks songs in isles regions’ are a multiple discourse which implicates the information of folk culture. It is because this becomes a cultural model in the age of the 21st century culture and a competitive item in cultural industry in the world.
The first issue is that when information can be recognized as ‘cultural resource’, cultural information as ‘folk culture information’, and information resource as ‘cultural resource of information’, they will interact with one another. In particular, from folk perspectives, ‘the culture information’ is the ground of ‘DB management’, the reason of ‘culture tourism’. The culture information becomes informatized through DB process in acculturation. To make it short, it is the culture resource of documents and films which has been developed and preserved, which is one of factors that construct culture/information network.
The second issue is that the culture information of isles regions is found in folk songs from folk perspectives. Namely, the nature-oriented adaptability appears in ‘Religious folk songs’. The life or vitality which moves forward to the mode of life in ‘Ceremonial folk songs and Darae’. The progressive spirit which heads toward the sea in ‘Playing folk songs and Sandai’. The diversity which seeks for openness in ‘Labor folk songs and Fishery’.
The last issue is that the characteristics of ‘folk songs in isles regions’ which stated above have the same way with digital culture. In view of ‘folk songs in isles regions’, Sori community should be formed and the original form of culture should be acculturated according to inner and outer variables in the folk culture information. Through these procedures, the holistic mirror is expected to be established.
