The purpose of this research is to explore the attitude of university students toward foreign immigrants in Busan, Ulsan, Changwon, Masan. This study is to explain correlation between university student's features(gender, school year, major), the social status and value of their fathers, their values, their contact experiences of foreign culture and the attitude toward the increasing number of foreign immigrants, the students' acceptability of the culture of married female immigrants, the attitude of foreigners in Korea.
Main findings are as follows. First, school year, values, gender factors have significant influence on the attitude toward the increasing number of foreign immigrants. Female senior students with progressive values tend to be affirmative. Second, gender, values, speciality factors significantly effect affect students' acceptability of the culture of married female immigrants. Female students who have progressive values and major in social science are more open. Third, values, major factors have significant influence on the attitude of foreigners in Korea. Students who have progressive values and major in social science are more open.
Based on these results we find implications that we need the contents and policies for systematic education for multi-cultural values.
