This study is designed to locate the relationship between the leader’s reliability and dance activity’s satisfaction. In order to conduct this study, 200 samples as research objects have been selected from the population of dance major students at 3 university using cluster sampling method. In order to be able to measure the level of confidence that students have in leaders in an exact manner, a questionnaire developed by Schindler and Thomas in 1993 and translated into usable standardization by Jae Yeon Lee(2002) and Tae Yoon Park(2007) was used, and as far as measuring satisfaction level of dance activity goes, the Ju Hee Kim’s measuring tool(2001) that is based upon Beard and Rapheb’s grading system has been applied for this study after some changes and implementation has been made as appropriate. This study has been able to confirm the statistical reliability of the questionnaire used due to the fact that Cronbach’s Alpha was between .70 and .87.This study adopted descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, Correlation and regression to analyze data.
This study has been able to reach to the following conclusions after using the research methods and academic procedures mentioned above.
First, there seems to be a lack of close relationship between leader’s trustworthiness and dance activity’s satisfaction depending on a different subjects researched. Leader’s capability, which is one of the lower components of leader’s reliability, was different among different subjects, and dance activity’s satisfaction turned out to be heterogeneous across the board but social satisfaction. Those areas which showed heterogeneity were educational, physical, environmental, psychological and facility satisfaction.
Second, it was evident that leader’s reliability has an impact on dance activity’s satisfaction of dance students. This study shows that altruistic component of leader's trustworthiness affects educational, facility-related, physical, environmental, psychological, social factor in a significant way, while competence part of leader's reliability influence physical, environmental and facility-related factor. The inclusive or " being open" component of leader's reliability is closely connected to psychological and social factor while its consistency part has an meaningful impact on psychological factor.
