In this thesis, I examined the ancient people's soul consciousness and the isolation of the soul around the idea of "a dream to dream because it is loved by a partner", and "a dream to dream for one because to love a partner". So far, there were not a few theses that it tried to understand an ancient dream vaguely from the side of the isolation of the soul. Some verification is necessary to recognize that as the fact.
The example that a dream and a soul were tied to directly and it was expressed isn't seen in the ancient times. But, I estimated such connection through "tamaahi". The isolation of the soul and connection with the soul and the dream in Chinese literature such as "Monzen" and "Gyokutaishingei" will support that, too. When it becomes the Heian Period, the example which makes the isolation, interchange of the soul, a dream or a soul a theme is seen very abundantly. Therefore, it is suitable to estimate that the consciousness of the isolation, interchange of the soul and the look meeting of the dream by the soul exists in the background of the ancient dream from the example of Chinese literature and the example of the Heian Period.
