This article views baptism as an educational festival that forms Christian identity and rebuilds the sense of church community of Korean youth. This article develops the baptism festival as an educational event and suggests the educational flow of the baptism festival. Because adolescence is the period of forming identity and relationships, baptism as the entrance to the Church community can be an educational program that helps youth develop Christian identity and relationships with other church members. In fact, since the time of the New Testament, baptism has been understood as union with Jesus Christ and with other church members as parts of the body of Christ. This article identifies baptism as a sacramental teaching because baptism consciously or unconsciously nurtures Christian identity and a sense of community for not only the baptized youth, but also the entire church congregation. This article designs a worship of baptism festival that cultivates Christian identity and a sense of church community for the baptized youth, their parents, their friends, and congregation as a whole.
