The purpose of this research is to analyze the importance about the spatial planning factors for domestic cultural city elicited by the case studies and to provide fundamental resources about the practical plan for making a domestic cultural city. The subject of the research was a group of experts in architecture and urban planning fields and the research was processed through the following steps; First, the year, location, and purpose of the selected case studies were researched. Second, the spatial planning factors for domestic cultural city were elicited and they were used as a research tool for the importance. Third, the importance was conducted from a group of experts. Forth, based on the survey data, reliability analysis, average comparison, factor analysis and correlation analysis were conducted. The results are as follow. First, it requires the construction of commercial environment for street and the improvement of walking environment. Second, it requires the sufficient forest area for providing fresh environment. Third, considering the control of the atmosphere, the waterside, the environmental facility, and revitalizing ecosystem, it promotes an energy save city which has the balance of environmental preservation and development. Fourth, unifying design of building, sign board, and maintaining street facilities, it maximizes the harmony of city landscape. Fifth, constructing the cultural space at public space like park or square, it makes leisure and recreation possible and furthermore, fulfills cultural desires.
