This paper discusses socialist thought and critic. consciousness of Lee Yuk-Sa, Most studies on poems of Lee Yuk-Sa have been conducted from the perspective of nationalism. However, it is required to interpret his poems in terms of socialist consciousness.
Part Ⅱ discusses life of Lee Yuk-Sa and formation of socialist thoughts. Lee Yuk-Sa joined Uiyuldan(의열단) to come into contact with anarchism and Marxism as socialist thoughts. And he received socialism education in Chosun Revolution School of Military and Politics(조선혁명간부학교). So it is necessary to study his works from the viewpoint of socialism.
Part Ⅲ discusses realistic literary viewpoints of Lee Yuk-Sa, focusing on his novels, essays, criticism. He emphasizes the relationship between literature and reality focusing on literature of Lu Xun(노신). Especially, he attached great importance to mind and method of realism, based on socialist thought. From now on, it is necessary to synthetically study the whole aspect of his literary from a logical point of view.
