This study aims to analyze the related effects accruing to markets from parallel importation of foreign luxury goods. The research method used are literature review, brainstorming technique to specialist and interview analysis with officials of related government.
This research broadly reviews three main aspects: analysis on the parallel importation trends of foreign luxury goods, obstacles to successful parallel importation policy and the negative effects accruing to markets after introduction to parallel importation between Korea and Japan. These results can provide basic and useful insights to build successful management strategy of parallel importation in Korea and the government, related companies can take responding solutions to settle problems accruing to parallel importation.
