A total of 592 among 623 students from middle, high school and university in Andong area were assessed with a self-administered questionnaire from Sep 9, 2000 to Sep 16, 2000. In all attendants concern about the handicapped showed the highest rate(52.7%) in Average. In socially discrimination the attendents(67.1%) thought that caused by congenital defect. In difficult employment the attendents(68.2%) thought that caused by lack of understanding by employer.
Education about the handicapped was not performed properly in middle(71.2%), high(68.4%) and university(45%). The handicapped thought the socially discrimination was highest problem(68.4%).
The prevalence of the image about the handicapped was highest(46%) in an item pure and the social dedication of the handicapped showed in middle(39.5%), high(51.9%) and university(44.9%).
The prevalence of the low social welfare about the handicapped was highest(66.9%) in an item lack of understanding.
