This paper will show that the characteristics of Ddeulzip in Youngdong Cultural Area and these characteristics are influenced by Ddeulzip in Andong cultural Area.
The characteristics of Ddeulzip in Youngdong Cultural Area are as follows. Firstly, the Ddeulzip adopts the format of the inner house of the Folk-Houses in Andong cultural Area. Secondly, the Ddeulzip seeks the convenience in the format of roofing structure. This shows that the Ddeulzip in Gangneung district does not accept the high degree of skill required in illumination of Ddeulzip in Andong district. Lastly, the Ddeulzip accepts the practicality revealed in Ddeulzip of High-class Houses in Andong cultural Area.
In conclusion, the Ddeulzip in Youngdong Cultural Area adopts every advantage revealed in the Ddeulzip of High-class Houses and Folk-Houses in Andong cultural Area. The Tteuljib seeks after the ideal dwelling format through the convenience and practicality.
