The goal of this article seeks to analyze a criminal psychology of serial killer, Jung Sun Jung who is the murder in the Movies named ‘Aurora Princess’. In the movies, she has killed 6 different persons. However, the reason of Killing were the same as the revenge of her daughter's death.
The method used in this study is a case study approach which is helpful for understanding actor’s behavior from her own subjective point of view.
The results of this study demonstrates that 1) She is a serial murder because she had a cooling off period each murder case and killed serially the mass victims in different sites. 2) The type of the serial Killer, Jung Sun Jung can be classified as a combined serial murderer type - Missionary and Power-Control type. 3) The MO(Modus Operandi) and OS(Offender Signature) is characterized by revenge toward society through her own criminal revolution. Especially, this article attempts to scrutinize the possibility of utilizing criminal psychology in Korea.
