The TFT-LCD type in-vehicle navigation device is one of the first major display technologies for delivering information for automobile drivers. Recently TFT-LCD, projection display, AMOLED, and flexible display technologies are considered to be used even in the instrument cluster for giving more information and better design flexibility. Technical trend of various information display technologies are reviewed in this paper.
