Renewal of urban areas becomes an urgent issue in Korea because all most all cities have been developed or expanded as the result of rapid industrialization since 1970, and local governments have panned mega projects to this end. Korean government needs systems to manage urban renewal projects at the level of program over the project lifecycle. This paper presents a schematic model of webbased program management systems for urban renewal projects that will be developed as a part of research project funded by the Korean government. Web-based program management systems consist of modules to support project briefing and interfaces with data-warehouse. In this paper, the scenarios to operate the systems and the functions of modules are mainly explained.
