Recently, the technical paradigm of automobiles has changed drastically from one that is centered in each particular function to an integrated system which unites IT, electricity, and electronic technologies. The telematics industry which grafts IT into the automotive industry plays a very important role in developing new markets in the automotive industry through development of high technology. For this reason, many Korean universities, research institutes, and enterprises are showing various efforts to study and optimize the telematics systems. Due to this fact, this study seeks to design an auto-conversion device of radio frequency when moving to different regions by linking the GPS reception data of the vehicle with the data base of radio frequencies of each region, as a sector of automotive telematics and connectivity.
