The purpose of this study was to draw the job satisfaction factors of Chinese tourist guide and investigate the disparity of job satisfaction factors between groups according to prospect awareness of Chinese tourist guide. The method is based on samples of 225 Chinese tourist guides with Factor Analysis, Multiple Regression Analysis, Cluster Analysis, and t-test.
The results of this study were as follows : First, factors that had influence on general job satisfaction among the six of job satisfaction factors were personal fulfillment(t=2.141, p<.05), colleagueship(t=2.529, p<.05), social achievement(t=2.958, p<.01), work environment(t=2.279, p<.05), and social achievement(β=.192) was statistically significant. Second, as a result of Cluster Analysis using prospect factor variables, two groups, the highly perceived prospect awareness group and low perceived prospect awareness group, were divided. Third, the job satisfaction of highly perceived prospect awareness group was more satisfactory than low perceived prospect awareness group. It was revealed that it is the prerequisite to reconsider job satisfaction that companies persuade their employees of the job prospect through suggesting their vision, making them convinced of developing their companies stably and consistently and acknowledging Chinese Tourist Guide as an important factor.
