The purpose of Christian Schools in the 21st century faces the challenges keeping the Holy Spirit central in education. The question must be posed where Christian education might be straying from the balance of orthodoxy. Christian schools speak of the role of the Holy Spirit in education. What is the role of the Holy Spirit and how is it propagated in Christian schools? Christian journaling can be an effective media for providing a place for the Holy Spirit to work in education. Holistic Christian education needs three elements that involve a balance of learning, moral, and spiritual. The challenge of 21st century Christian education is to provide an atmosphere for the Holy Spirit in education and teach the role of the Holy Spirit in life. A cursory survey of a Christian university indicates students are not knowledgeable of the role of the Holy Spirit in education.
