In the study of church curriculum that emphasizes systematization and effectiveness, mysterious and transcendental dimension for church curriculum development has been ignored. However, today's study of church curriculum tend to turn from goal-oriented curriculum to the curriculum that reflects mystery and wonder of God. Just as artists continue to get inspiration in the process to create an art, church curriculum should be an artistic work to express God's vision in mystery and wonder that people can not expect. Artistic church curriculum is to create beautiful harmony of vision, content, method, environment, and evaluation. Among these five elements for church curriculum development, there is no fixed order, but beautiful dance of interactions to move towards harmony. This dissertation explains how important teaching methods are and introduces how teaching methods such as poetry, picture, and storytelling create harmony with educational vision, content, environment, and evaluation.
