This study analyses the relationships among co-authors and among papers published in Journal of Korean Association of Regional Studies by a social network analysis. Social network analysis views social relationships in terms of network theory, consisting of nodes and links. The co-authorship network analysis and citation network analysis are used to analyse the relationships. Descriptive statistic is also used for analysing author, paper, region, and so on. The results can be summarized as follows. The authors tend to be concentrated in Yeongnam and Honam area. The papers have very little citation by the other journals. The keywords are scattered over many terms. The authors tend to have the same affiliation. The contribution of this paper is on applying data model to social network analysis.
