This study is on the new model of Writing Education in the University Engineering Department. It is very important for the students in engineering colleges to write specific papers dealing with their majors. The writing education in the university is focusing on the Accreditation for Engineering Education. Many the university engineering department has adopted the Accreditation Board Engineering Education of Korea.
The subject of writing need to keep pace with the Accreditation Board Engineering Education of Korea. The Accreditation Board Engineering Education of Korea has made stand the standard of engineering education. Specially, they have emphasized three rules; first focusing on the students, second focusing on the performance and third focusing on the valuation. Most of all, they demand the peed~back system in all of courses.
The subject of writing is the process. The Accreditation Board Engineering Education of Korea also thinks 'the process' important. Therefore professors for engineering writing must develop the teaching skills and methods. Especially It needs to start basic writing courses. Because basic writing course is different from other majors not engineering. This paper made a proposal about new model of an outline in engineering writing using in practical situation. It was related with a process that students discussed together and amended their works several times.
