The purposes of this study were to analyze event and phase of handspring salto forward stretched with turn to investigate the difference of lower joint angular velocity variables between two groups as movements skill. All subjects were divided into 3 national gymnasts(skilled group) and 3 college gymnasts (less skilled group). For this purpose, during each trial 4 high-speed video camera were used to measure movements by Kwon 3D program applied for calculation of 3-D coordinate and body joint central point. The conclusions of this study were as follows. In terms of angular velocity, the kneew joint in the left had the lower limbs accelerate the speed to take lift. The rapid velocity of knee joints rotated handspring rapidly and helped body be right at the takeoff. The angular velocity of knee joints was influenced more than that of hip joints at twisting. The powerful movement of lower limbs made body be high off the ground and be twisted safely.
