This research was to investigate how youth participation in Taekwondo was related with satisfaction with school life and accomplishment of school work. For this purpose, students of middle schools and high schools in Seoul who went to Takwondo studios were chosen and the sample for final analysis was compressed into 389 by purposeful sampling method. The collected data were analyzed through one-way ANOVA and frequency analysis using SPSS 17.0. Conclusions are as follows: First, satisfaction with school life had a significant difference in personal characteristics. Second, accomplishment of school work showed a significant difference in personal characteristics. Third, satisfaction with school life was differed by participation in Takwondo. Fourth, accomplishment of school work had a significant difference in participation in Takwondo.
