The process of the first language acquisition is actually parallel with the process of understanding the cultural connotation which is the background of that language, but the process of the second language acquisition is not entirely the case. Firstly, before learning the second language learners generally have established the culture concept and value system that is compatible with their native environment. Secondly, in the process of learning language, learners tend to "learn" the language itself but neglect the cultural connotation associated with language exchange (Pragmatic). Therefore, it was found that avoiding the "cultural conflict" is not proportional to the level of the target language. To this end, in second language teaching, how to introduce cultural knowledge and guide students to understand the restraint of cultural concept in language application in order to teach them to use the target language more appropriately is very critical. This paper takes the television observation class of "Intercultural Communication" course for example to discuss the above issue from the view point of teaching strategies. Hope it is helpful for the TCFL (Teaching Chinee as Foreign Language).
