This study aimed to present moderate effects of performance levels on the relationships between meddle-high school handball coaches’ instructional behavior types, athletes’ satisfaction and instructional effectiveness, and then this study will provide a guideline for the middle-high school handball coaches to educate their athletes efficiently. 341 junior(middle-high school students) handball athletes’ data included 15 teams of middle school division and 16 teams of high school division used for the study. Statistical analysis was performed descriptive statics, path analysis by structural equation and moderate effects with SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 7.0 software program. The results of this study are as in the followings.
First, Training and instruction behavior, social support behavior, and positive feedback behavior among junior handball coaches’ instructional behavior types effect to athletes’ satisfaction and instructional effectiveness. Second, Training and instruction behavior, social support behavior, positive feedback, and autocratic behavior among junior handball coaches’ instructional behavior types effect to instructional effectiveness. Third, Athletes’ satisfaction satisfaction has positive relationship with instructional effectiveness. Fourth, Junior athletes’ performance level has moderated athletes’ satisfaction effectively. These results suggest junior handball coaches should emphasize that athletes should be strong and powerful. Junior handball team coaches should make psychological positive atmosphere and motivate players to perform. Finally junior handball coaches should show attention and regard for a substitute player to develop their potential energy.
