The purpose of this study is to analyze the proximity of the supporting facilities for the aged. The results of analysis are listed below. First, the survey of the proximity to dwelling on the 9"s facilities showed that the aged want the transportation, medical and recreational facilities to be close to their dwelling. There was a difference in the proximity of transportation facility according to the type of living-together. Secondly, a correlation analysis was performed to analyse interrelationships among the supporting facilities. The result demonstrated that the medical facility and the transportation facility had high correlations with others. And the highest correlation was found between the medical facility and the public facility. Finally, the result of MDS(multidimensional scaling) revealed that 9"s facilities were sub-divided into 4-groups based on the correlationship. The first group was consisted of the public and the medical facilities. The second group included the transportation, the commercial and the recreation facilities. The third group had the welfare, the culture and the sport facilities. The last was the religion facility. The results of this study will give new perspectives in planning related with the aged.
