The global automotive companies are studying for using non-painted polymer to save cost and reduce volatile organic compounds, recently.
In this study, scratch behaviors of non-painted polymer has been investigated. Especially the scratch characterization of polypropylene with respect of parameters, such as component of polypropylene, color, emboss, and test method, are reviewed.
In addition, the approach for improving the scratch resistance of polypropylene is also discussed.
