Flash butt welding process is applied in meny industries. The objective of present study is to investigate the result that brings to none fracture of welded joint of SM45C and 45R geade steel sheet. It is carried out under micro metallographical examination and macro mechanical property tests. The joint of flash butt welding has a superior tensile property compare with 4EA specimens. The HAZ softening in the welded joint of does partial show. It was found that white band microstructures at the welded zone had high ferrite volume fraction and large ferrite grain size. According to this white band, softening has been appeared.
